All the hype surrounding bank charges has opened the door for many companies to charge up to 40% commission on claims.

April 05, 2007. iWantMyChargesBack.co.uk announced today its stance against unfair commission levels demanded from companies claiming back bank charges on behalf of their clients.

Reclaiming bank charges is current big news and can be carried out by the account holder if they follow the correct procedure. For many reasons the account holder may prefer to employ a company to process the claim on their behalf, not wishing to get caught up in negotiations and formalities.

This has opened the door for many claims companies to start charging up to 40% commission to undertake the claim, all be it on a no win no fee basis.

iWantMyChargesBack.co.uk distances itself from this practice and offers its customers a transparent low fixed fee of £250 on a no win no fee basis, no matter how high the claim is. A high proportion of claims are in excess of £2000, as claims can be made for up to 6yrs worth of charges.

Founder of iWantMyChargesBack.co.uk Mark Bateman said “Our customers want one thing, to get their charges back as quickly as possible for a reasonable fee. They also want a service that does not cause too many ripples with their bank. We offer all of this. We don't need to charge high fees to do this, and as a business we are rapidly growing".

Bateman added “There is a feeling that bank charges need to be claimed very quickly before something or someone moves the goal posts. Although that may be true people need to look very closely at the fees they are being asked for before rushing into a high percentage deal. Sure, work needs to be done in order to negotiate and win a claim but not at 25-40%, no matter what size the claim plus interest is."

About iWantMyChargesBack.co.uk

Mark Bateman founded iWantMyChargesBack.co.uk in order to help people and businesses claim back their bank charges at a transparent low fixed fee. Coming from an accountancy background and also having fallen foul of the charging system Mark has made his own successful claims and is now helping many others to do the same.
