Why not get a parttime job and make some extra money... I'm sure the local supermarkets could do with a part-time shelf stacker etc Wink

Okay here are some tips from my student days Smile

* Take advantage of promotional money-off coupons.
* Visit supermarkets at the end of the day when fresh produce is often marked down in price.
* Buy fruit and veg from the local market, usually a lot cheaper than the supermarket !
* Look out for the buy 1 get 1 free offers and bulk buying deals

Thats a good one Smile

Heres another one, track your spending for two to four weeks to find out where your money is going. Are four trips to Starbucks a week really necessary?

People don't realise what they spend on things so try writing it all down and then you can see what to cut back on.

make sure you apply for your student loan early and have it put into your account in three instalments throughout the year, this will ensure you don’t blow the whole lot in your first term!
