My bank wants to charge me £12 (halifax) to deposit a $30 cheque, which means I'd only get about £4 afterwards !
There must be a better way of depositing small cheques
any help apprreciated. |

They only charge 95p per envelope sent to them, so you can send more than 1 cheque all included in the same fee. |

I expect to be getting small cheques from the USA soon, so will use that ! usually I can't do anything with them i.e. $20
