I was lookign at my premium bonds for May and noticed that they are doing a 2 year ISA with a 0.55% bonus so 5.05%

I have copied the details below -

At a glance
A great tax-free rate of 5.05% AER (variable)
Investing your money in a cash ISA allows you to save up to £3,000 a year without paying any UK Income Tax on the interest you earn. With a Direct ISA from NS&I, you’ll also benefit from a highly competitive rate of interest and the convenience of managing your account by phone and online.

Why choose this product? If you want to earn our highest tax-free rate and are happy to manage your account by phone and online
Who can invest? UK residents aged 16 or over
Minimum opening deposit £1,000
Minimum further deposit £250 (£100 by standing order)
Maximum £3,000 in total per tax year
Interest Variable
Tax status Tax-free

I agree, this is one of the best isa's available at this point in time !

I think people will be well adviced to open the account ASAP whilst it is still available as I think it will be withdrawn sooner rather than later.

Did you get an email from them confirming the application. When I applied online I got an immediate email confirming my application.
