I've just recieved my phone bill from BT and they have charged me £5.00 for late payment of my last bill.
I do recall paying before I got my red letter that stated
“You may incur a £5 late payment charge and/or a reconnection charge if you fail to pay this bill immediately”.
Is there anyway I can get the £5 back from them, and if so how ? |

| You could try complaining on the phone, that you were not aware you would be charged and that you paid before you got the letter and they may let u off |

| If you paid before you get the red letter then you may have a case ! Send them a copy of your bank statement perhaps ? |

| Like bank charges being unfair and claimable, can this also be claimed back by sending them a letter? |
