| Can anyone tell me how long after giving my card details can a company be allowed to take the payment ? I gave my card details in may when i had the money and only now do they want to take the payment..The payment was for an urgent (private hospital) operation and i was told that the payment would/was taken before operating and now find that after being unable to work and not earning since the operation they want to take money that i can't afford.....can anyone tell me please if they are allowed to do this after 4 months...thanks ! |

As far as I am aware there is no time limit, they could take it even several years later, though there is a 6 year limit on outstanding debts.
I'm sorry, theres nothing much you can do about it. |
