I am interested in these, but exactly how do I buy them ?
is there an investment trusts isa ?

You buy them through a broker such as sqauregain.co.uk
Yes you can hold investment trusts both within standalone shares isa's or self select shares isa's if you visit squaregain.co.uk they will have more inforamtion on the options available. |

Also look into discount brokers, and funds supermarkets to save on commissions |

Cavindish online is one, though you could use a stock broker like squaregain rather than a supermarket. |

Yes, a self select isa is just like having a normal brokerage account, where the only difference is that you cannot deposit more than your isa allowance per tax year. |
