Cash Points is a new service to moneyforums.co.uk users. (April 06), so that members are rewarded for making quality posts by recieving Cash Points

What can I do with my cash points ?

In the initial phase of cashpoints, (starting April 06) members are encouraged to offer free services to other moneyforums members, using Cash Points as a currency of exchange.

What better way to save money than to get someone's help for free? And what better way to feel good about yourself than to help someone out?

So, if you can provide a free service - anything - advertise it on this forum. Give it a price in Cash Points, and your customer then simply pays you those points in return for the service.

You can then use your points to buy services from other members. It's a kind of bartering exchange.

Ideas for services:
Fill in someone's tax return?
Write a contract for something.
Do some typing.
Write a CV
Write a professional letter.
Do some ironing.
Provide some professional counselling.
Help someone fix their PC
Design a website.
Create some graphics.
Do some picture editing.
Photo session.
Gardening.

Etc...

Donate Cashpoints to Useful replies
If soemone posts a really useful reply to your query then you can reward them by donating some of your cashpoints to them. Another incentive for forum members to make helpful posts.

What will follow after the initial stage ?

1.Plans of creating a casino where points can be gambled for more points playign games such as black jack and fruitmachines (ONLY cashpoints would used, i.e. no real money gambling).

2.Moneyforums plans to add a shop where cashpoints can be exchanged for actual goods.

2.Classified Ads - Free ads in exchange for cash points - Moneyforums plans to develop a complete classified ads services for members.

Cash Points started in April 2006 - Do I recieve any cash for my previous posts ?
Yes, all members with over 10 posts will recieve a starting bonus depending on how many posts they had made.

How many Cash Points can I earn per post ?
The breakdown of cash point rewards is as follows -
Start a New Topic = 25 Cash points.
Every reply to your topic will earn you = 5 Cash points.
When you reply to a topic you will earn = 10 Cash points.
Every character in your post, will will earn you = 0.02 Cash points.

** The Maximum any single posting can earn is 150 points.
** Additionally from time to time, BONUS cash points will be awarded to Members for contributions to the society i.e. as milestones for total posts made, or in reward of exceptional postings.

Hi

Its far too early for specifics, but I can say initially it will be along the lines of gift vouchers such as for Argos, and Amazon etc...

As for how many points, that would depend on the total number in circulation against the allocated cashpoints budget.
