Hi all
Just recieved an email regarding cash machines as copied below-
As you know fraud from cash machines is becoming an increasing problem around the UK and recently gangs of criminals have been targeting the cash machines on London Underground premises. The pictures below were taken at Hammersmith Tube Station in the past week. The first picture details how the Barclays cash machine normally looks. The criminals have been fitting portable card readers to the machines which clone the card details.
The second picture details how the cash machine looks after the cloning device has been fitted with double sided tape.
Please be aware of this scam which may also be used on other machines around the country. If you become aware that a device has been fitted to a cash machine, please bring it to the attention of any staff where the machine is located and/or contact the local police immediately.

There have been several stories recently about card cloning at various cash points around the city I live in, (Manchester), some times its a camera along the top to catch the pin, other times they put on a whole front to the card cloning, but usually as your pictures show, its a small cloning box. |

I saw a TV program the other day and it was a sting on card cloners, bloody eastern europeans, is this was EU enlargement means ?
All the crooks coming over here ? |

Heres an example of another card cloning kit
This one is from a former Romanian footballer who was caught removing equipment from a cash machine in Norfolk.

Aurelian Zlati was arrested at a cashpoint in Yarmouth – after he was spotted removing a card-cloning device and pinhole camera, which are being used by criminal gangs stealing an estimated £39m a year.
Zlati, 27, a former player with top-flight Romanian side FCM Bacau, was jailed for 21 months after he admitted going equipped to steal.
The court heard that Zlati was arrested after being spotted acting suspiciously at the Abbey National cash-point at the Asda store in Yarmouth.
