If for whatever reason you cannot get a current account, then the basic bank accounts are good alternatives.
Basic Bank Accounts can have credits paid into the accounts; cash can be withdrawn across the counter and at ATMs; direct debits are available, but generally not cheques or overdrafts.
These are ideal for people with a poor credit history. |

Thanks ! I got refused when I tried to open an current account at the TSB (I'm just 16), but will ask about basic bank accounts
Which are the best banks for these ? |
