You have been elected Prime Minister of the UK with a landslide majority to do just about what every you like (subject to authorisation from the white house Wink )

So what are the main things that you would do ?

I would do the following -

1. Scrap Income tax - all revenues would be from indirect taxation.

2. Withdraw from Iraq, let the Americans swim in their own soup.

3. Strengthen economic links with Europe, with a view to joining the Euro, but refrain from any political union. This will give is low inflation and low interest rates.

4. Introduce a points system for immigration for ALL including Asylum seekers ! So we only get the best of the best.(very controversial indeed !)

5. Raise the retirement age annually by a few days inline with financial projections of how it can be financed.

6. Sort out the public sector pensions so that they are brought in line with those in the private sector.

7. Limit the number of terms a Prime Minister can be in office to a maximum of 2.

What about all the British who are emigrating abroad ?

As it is the old seem to be leaving to spain etc and the young hard workers from eastern europeans are coming in !

Stopping immigration will result in loss of economic growth !
