Lloyds TSB, Britain's fifth-largest bank, announced on Tuesday it would become the country's first high street bank to introduce a personal bank account compatible with Islamic Sharia law.
Lloyds TSB said it would cater to the needs of Britain's approximately 1.8 million Muslims, following in the footsteps of the Islamic Bank of Britain (IBB), which opened in London last September offering the same service in addition to Islamic mortgages.
The new Lloyds TSB account was to offer no interest or overdraft facilities because under Islamic law both payment and receipt of interest are forbidden. |

I would like to invest some money in islamic share the only islamic share I have found the Islamic Bank shares they are not good to start with they are too expenssive.
Could you please help if you know any islamic shares to trade in the UK

Why don't you try an investment trust that invests in say islamic countries or in a range of islamic stocks.
For instant indonesia, malaysia, pakistan, arabia etc |
