1 year 5.8%
2 year 6.07%
3 year 6.12%
4 year 6.14%

The Rufllerbank is a small UK bank that is apparently FSA registered so your money is secure.

Hi Sarah

those are the gross AER rates, the actual rates are a little lower.

Also I was doing some research and found this about Ruffler bank account opening experience -

I invested some money with them about six months ago. Sent my application form and cheque through the post but heard nothing from them for 10 days.
Rang them up and they said they hadn't recieved my application.
Got really worried, cancelled the cheque and then two days later rang me back and told me they had recieved it. They were very apologetic so I sent them another cheque and all seemed fine until I recieved my quarterly statement which showed that my initial investment was £5000 less than what I'd actually invested!

When I rang them they were insistant that this was the amount they received.
I was seriously angry by now so I had to send them my bank statement as proof.

They did accept that I was right but I don't think I will be bothering with them again.

Interest rates are likely to rise in November, you might as wait until 1st December now, when that rate rise will show in fixed rates

How can ruffler afford to pay a rate much higher than othr banks ?

Are they safe ?

Whats the chances they go bust like what Barings did a while back ?

Seems odd they are giving 6.14% when others are offering 5.5%
