I got refused on my first ever credit card application

I applied for my first credit card recetnly and got refused (Tesco's)

Ive got no debts, and earn about £1200 a month, and live at home with my parents, and oh I'm 19

Help ! I need a card any advice ?

Its usually easier to get a card with the bank you have your current account with so I would give them a try first.

Hi Birdie

The tesco card is notorisly hard to get.. Try your bank as aboveor Egg / Halifax.. they should be more accomodating.

I could not get one either, so I started with the capital one classic card which is for people with poor or no credit histories.

if you still find it tough going then go for the capital one classic.
