How often does credit score/rating start over?

I got my first credit card at 18, I'm now 24. In another year will my credit rating start over? I thought I had heard that from someone before. Is it just the credit I accrued when I was 18? Suppose I got another credit card at 21, does that one stay on for 7 years or is that one "erased" too?

The best way is to find out by asking the experts in this field. I do the same, i don't rely on some advices given by novices. Generally credit score starts bi quarterly. anyways, find it out properly for your problem.

Your credit generally stays on your credit report for 6 years..
However it's from the date of last activity.. so... if you make a payment on your credit card today, that record will stay on your report for another 6 years. Even if you close your credit account, it will still show.. (In this case the account will show as STATUS=closed)
